For owner-operators

Your truck. Your books. One place to run it.

Keep the load and its paperwork together from the rate con to the quarter. Fuel receipts with the fill, the POD with the load, and the numbers built from records you confirmed. Leave the shoebox behind.

Sample records. Each part below says whether it is being built now or planned.

Cream semi-truck tractor, the CarrierAgent trips artwork

The whole run, in order.

  1. Start with the rate con.

    Building now
    You
Photograph the rate confirmation at the truck stop or pull in the PDF. The app proposes pickup, delivery, dates and rate, and flags what it is unsure of. You confirm.
    What it gives you
The load details stay with the document they came from, instead of being typed into three places.
    Worth knowing
Nothing becomes a record until you confirm it. What the app reads is a proposal, never a promise of accuracy.
  2. Run the stops.

    Building now
    You
Open the trip, work the pickup and the delivery, and add paperwork at each one.
    What it gives you
The work you are doing today, with its pages, in one place on your phone.
    Worth knowing
The app does not follow the truck by itself and never guesses an arrival time. The record is what you recorded. RoadLink, a planned device you could add later, would keep truck observations beside this work with the gaps shown.
  3. Add paperwork as the trip goes.

    Building now
    You
Photograph the fuel receipt at the pump and the POD at the dock. The original is kept exactly as it arrived.
    What it gives you
The receipt stays with the fill and the POD stays with the load. When a broker asks for a page, you know where it is.
    Worth knowing
POD received is its own fact. It is not a delivery time and it is not payment. Corrections are saved as new versions; the original never changes.
  4. Have the right pages when someone asks.

    Planned
    You
See what is in the trip packet and what is still missing, then prepare the set a broker or a factor actually asked for.
    What it gives you
Fewer pages to hunt for before invoicing or factoring preparation.
    Worth knowing
CarrierAgent prepares the paperwork. It does not send invoices, submit to a factor or collect money for you.
  5. Know what the run actually left you.

    Building now
    You
Enter the fixed costs that run whether you do or not: the payment, insurance, permits, the phone.
    What it gives you
Cost per mile from your own trips, fuel and costs, with a missing week shown as a missing week.
    Worth knowing
Every figure traces to a record. There is no projected profit and no promise about what you will earn.
  6. Keep the truck ready.

    Building now
    You
Add service, parts and the shop that did the work, by VIN, with the invoice photographed when you pay it.
    What it gives you
One maintenance history that follows the unit, and a maintenance cost that flows into cost per mile.
    Worth knowing
Reminders for registration, inspection and annual dates are planned. Until they ship, the dates live in the record and you check them. RoadLink is a planned device that could add engine hours and reported conditions to the same history.
  7. Carry the records into the quarter.

    Building now
    You
Bring your fuel and mileage records together and review what is there before anyone files.
    What it gives you
Miles by state and tax-paid gallons by state, each traceable to the record behind it, ready for your base state's portal.
    Worth knowing
The portal computes the tax; CarrierAgent never invents a tax-due figure. Indiana done-for-you filing is a planned service and is not publicly available.
  8. Hand off the part you hate, when it is built.

    Planned
    You
Tell the planned agent what needs doing: attach this POD to the Dallas load and finish the packet.
    What it gives you
The same actions the screens run, under your own permissions, with an honest account of what changed.
    Worth knowing
Planned. It works in your own records or a company's, never both at once, asks before anything that matters, and cannot do by pretending what the app cannot do.
  9. Factoring paperwork, with less re-entry.

    Planned
    You
Use the ready trip packet for your factor's submission instead of retyping the load and re-uploading the pages.
    What it gives you
Load details and the allowed paperwork reused in your factoring workflow, with packet ready, submitted, accepted and funded kept as separate stages.
    Worth knowing
Planned integration. OTR Solutions is our first integration target, subject to access and approval. No connection is live yet, and you stay free to use your own factor.

When something goes wrong on the road.

A missing page or a wrong number is part of the job. The app is built to show you the gap and keep what you already have.

A page is missing.

The load stays saved and the packet says which page is missing. Adding the POD later is the next action, not starting the load over.

The app read a number wrong.

You correct it before it becomes a record. If you already confirmed it, the fix is a new version and the original page is kept, so an audit sees both.

A save did not come back.

The app tells you when a save did not go through and keeps what you already confirmed. It never shows “Saved” before the save succeeds.

What stays yours.

  • Your fuel receipts, your money and your private trips, even when you haul for another company. Sharing a trip packet with a company is your deliberate choice, and it never includes your books.
  • Your original pages, kept exactly as they arrived, with every correction saved beside them.
  • Your IFTA account, the tax your state's portal calculates and the payment to the state. Preparing a return is not filing it.
  • Private work without a DOT or MC number. You do not have to identify a carrier to keep your own records.

Straight answers.

Do I need a DOT or MC number to use it?
No. Private work can exist without one. If you run under your own authority, your company facts are reused where they belong; if you work with another company, that relationship is separate from your private books.
Does CarrierAgent find me loads?
No. It is not a load board and it does not broker freight. It runs the loads you already booked and the paperwork, fuel, money and quarter that follow them.
Will it file my IFTA return?
Not today. Outside Indiana the plan is guided preparation: the numbers in portal order, and you file. Indiana done-for-you filing is a planned service that is not publicly available; it would need your own filing authorization and account access in place first.
What does it cost?
Pricing is not published. No checkout or payment is live.
Can I use it today?
There is no public App Store listing yet. Joining the pilot list is an email address, and we write when there is something real to try.

Help shape a simpler day in the truck.

Leave an email and tell us what you care about. We write when there is something real to put on a truck, and the pilot is how this gets built around the way you actually run.

Optional — what should we tell you about?

Your email is used to send you CarrierAgent pilot and launch updates. See the privacy policy for what the pilot list stores.
